UHY Arab Auditors participate in UHY EMA meeting in Split, Croatia

Managing Partner Nabil Haddad represented UHY Arab Auditors in the UHY EMA meeting held in Split, Croatia in May 2010. 

More than 70 delegates representing UHY member firms throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa gathered for their regional meeting.

The meeting was succesfull in all aspects, were all delgates throughout the meeting discussed several issues an exchanged their ideas and visions toward the startegic plan of the UHY network for the coming five years (2011-2015).

UHY Arab Auditors participated in UHY Arab Countries meeting

Managing partners of UHY Arab Auditors Omran Tillawi and Nabil Haddad participated in the UHY Arab Countries meeting hosted by UHY Andy Brayan, Lebanon on 1 October 2009.

The meeting attended by UHY members in Lebanon, Kuwait, Egypt, Saudia Arabia and Jordan.

Among the issues discussed by the delegates:

               1.    The Professional development within the region in Audit, Tax  and Consultant.

            2.    Establish a Training Centre in the Middle East and North Africa regions.

            3.    Sharing skills within the Arabian offices.

At the end of the meeting, it was decided that the third meeting to be held one day before the UHY 2010 EMA regional meeting in Croatia.

 

 
UHY Arab Auditors attend the EMA meeting in Bremen

Managing Partner Nabil Haddad, attended the UHY regional meeting of EMA (Europe, Middle east and Africa) held in Bremen, Germany in may 2009. Mr Haddad breifly presented Arab Auditors to the delegates  as a new member of UHY. 

                                

The UHY Arabic Speaking Language, held their first meeting one day before the UHY EMA meeting, it was agreed that the next meeting to be hosted by UHY Andy Brayan, Lebanon.

* UHY appoints a new member in Jordan, extending coverage across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region

Jordan firm, Arab Auditors, Amman, joins the top 20 network, UHY

Global accountancy network, UHY, has expanded its coverage in the Middle East and North Africa region with the admittance to membership of Arab Auditors, of Amman, Jordan.

The firm, which provides services to small to medium-sized businesses, is 15-strong including partners. Sixty per cent of its turnover is from audit, 30% from tax, 5% from bookkeeping, and 5% from other services. The firm is currently planning to expand service offerings to include IT advice. Industries represented by clients include: confectionery, retail, hotel and agri-chemicals, contracting and shipping sectors are also among its specialisms. Languages spoken within the firm are Arabic and English.

Arab Auditors is an active member of the Jordan Association of Certified Public Accountants (JACPA) Omran Tillawi was recently elected as Vice President in the current Council following a three year term as Secretary and Nabil Haddad is a member of the Continuous Training Committee and the Legal Committee related to JACPA.
